Griffin Gaming Partners appoints Emily Wang as COO

Griffin Gaming Partners announced today that it has welcomed Emily Wang as a Partner and the Chief Operating Officer. As part of her new role, she’ll be overseeing Griffin’s interests in mergers, acquisitions and financing. She was formerly a managing director at Liontree, specializing in mergers and acquisitions in interactive entertainment.

Wang said in a statement, “I’m honored to partner with the Griffin team on this next chapter. Griffin has built a high-class team, portfolio, and network of partners. I’m excited to collaborate with the team to deepen and expand our impact on the games industry.”

In addition to Liontree, Wang formerly worked at J.P. Morgan and was a managing director at Code Advisors. According to Griffin, Wang has advised on $15 billion of successful transactions, including Next Games to Netflix, PullString to Apple, Ustream to IBM and others. According to her profile on Griffin’s site, her favorite game is Overcooked.
