Capcom revealed more details about its upcoming 2024 titles at its Next Showcase today. These titles included Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, Resident Evil 7 for Apple devices and Dead Rising: Deluxe Remaster. Of the three, the latter received the lion’s share of attention, with the publisher revealing more details about the game’s development, its upgraded visuals and gameplay and its launch: The game comes out on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.

Capcom showed off all of the upgrades coming to the remastered version of the game, including its new 60 FPS framerate and 4K resolution as well as nine voiced languages and 14 subtitled languages. The showcase revealed the more detailed models for Frank, Brad, Jessie, the Psychopaths and other NPCs. The game also has several quality-of-life upgrades, including improved NPC functions, real-time lighting effects, the ability to move while aiming, and auto-save functions.

The publisher also announced that it’s launching a free demo for its upcoming action-RPG Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess. In addition to an extensive gameplay showcase, it also revealed that it’s making a crossover with Okami, Capcom’s other Japanese myth-based adventure game. Okami-based weapons and costumes feature in the demo, and if players work together to gather a certain amount of in-game items, those items will be included in the game itself as a free update.

The final game included in the showcase was Resident Evil 7, which launches on iPhone, iPad and Mac on July 2. More specifically, it’s launching on iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro and every Mac and iPad with a M1 chip or later. The launch supports Universal Purchase, meaning players can buy the game once and play it across all of their compatible devices.
