Scoutvendor, as the name implies is a price comparison website designed and developed for users who frequently shop online, whether you are a shopaholic or just the average shopper, Scoutvendor was designed for you. It is aimed at giving you comparison of prices of similar products with specifications and recommendations across varios online market places, as well as giving you direct purchase link to the seected vendor of your choice. Amongst its other activities are reading and giving reviews, sharing products with specifications on social media and via email, discount and coupon codes amongst others.
Team 26, the team I was placed in, consisted of front-end devs, back-end devs, full-stack devs and product designers. We were tasked by Zuri supervisors to build a product from ideation to deployment and manage it for feedback. My role as a Product designer. I commenced work with my micro team of UX researchers. We ensured that we carried out thorough research as to the object of the project. The research helped us understand both the project, our target users and their behaviour. The result of a job well done saw that, during the first assessment, team 26 was part of the 5 teams ranked 1st out of a host of other 129 teams working on diverse projects of theirs.Other creators -
