    Role - Project Manager - Generators:

    My client is a successful supplier of generators and, along with standard products, offers bespoke project solutions designed to meet the most stringent of customer specifications. Their standard range of industrial generators is powered by both diesel and gas engines ranging from 8 KVA to 4,000 KVA utilising a single engine. For larger power requirements they utilise digital multi-set paralleling control systems from a range of manufacturers.

    They currently have a requirement for an experienced Project Manager to work on generator projects across the South East of England. This is an exciting and challenging role, working closely with M&E Contractors and Consultants, with the objective of delivering generator projects for a wide variety of sectors including healthcare, IT and telecoms.

    Candidate – Project Manager - Generators:

    The successful applicant will need to demonstrate:

    • An exceptional knowledge of generators and have previous experience of managing generator installation projects.
    • You will need to be technically strong, ideally with an electrical bias.
    • You will have ideally completed the SSSTS or SMSTS course, hold a Prince2 certification and have completed an HNC or above in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
    • You will need to hold a full driving licence and be flexible to travel throughout the South East of England.

    The Company:

    Our client is a Company of Legal Costs Draftspersons, with a particular focus on high value and Multi Track Personal Injury cases, such as Clinical Negligence, Industrial Disease and Catastrophic Injury.
    Due to continued success, the company requires an additional Experienced Legal Costs Draftsperson to help them keep up with the high volume of workload.
    Their reputation and service levels are key to their client relationships, so this is a key appointment to maintain their high standards, whilst continuing to grow.

    The Role:

    They require a Costs Draftsperson, working on predominantly Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence and Commercial cases. The role will be predominantly drafting, however being a busy Costs Practice your negotiation skills may also be needed.

    They are looking for Candidates with several years’ experience within the Legal Costs profession, who have experience in drafting bills, but also ideally with a demonstrable track record of outstanding negotiation skills. You will show a passion for your work, industry and furthering your own knowledge.

    Key Responsibilities will include:

    • Producing Replies to Points of Dispute using relevant case law.
    • Drafting formal Bills including the new format E Bill
    • Drafting Costs Budgets (Precedent H) and undertaking Budget Discussions
    • Drafting schedules of costs and N260’s
    • Dealing with electronic and paper files for costing
    • Handling your own varied case load
    • Producing detailed risk analysis of costs

    The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the following:

    • Previous experience working as a Legal Costs Draftsperson
    • Proficient with the E-Bill (new format)
    • Vastly experienced with Costs Budgets and Multi-track cases
    • Must be able to display excellent written communication
