The Tower of London played a unique role in the commemorative events across the UK marking the outbreak of the First World
War . The Tower wanted to mount one of the most stunning artistic commemorations of the centenary.The Tower’s moat will be turned entirely red through the installation of over 800,000 ceramic poppies, each one beautifully handmade in the studio of artist Paul Cummins.
My team & I took a day to help plant 5000 of the 800,000 + poppies The Tower needs to plant. -

What is Million Makers? Million Makers is an entrepreneurial fundraising challenge which sees teams of employees from companies across the UK competing to raise at least £10,000 or more over a period of six months. The competition is a learning and development tool proven to build essential business skills and motivate your employees. Collectively, teams are aiming to raise £1,000,000 to transform the lives of disadvantaged young people around the country.
