If you are a school or MAT then the DfE Standards advise that cyber security training should be completed annually by anyone with access to the network. Why not get a 'real live person' in to talk to everyone? The standard includes training students not just staff.

Today is #WorldPasswordDay Cyber Security is continually evolving, both in terms of the threats organisations like the #NHS face and our response. However, strong cyber security starts with strong foundations like passwords. NHS England has provided an example guide for an organisation-wide password policy which can be used as a starting point and is avaliable here: https://lnkd.in/eX9TZYp6 As a minimum, your password should contain: ✅️ A minimum of 8 characters long. ❌️ Not contain a dictionary word of more than 4 characters. 🔠 Contain at least two uppercase letters. 🔡 Contain at least two lower case letters. 🔢 Contain at least 2 numbers. ⁉️ Contain at least two special characters or non-alphanumeric characters, such as ! ” £ $ % & * @.

We have launched a new referral pathway with Lancashire Police to enable them to refer women in for support after they have been issued with a Community Resolution! 🤔 What is a Community Resolution? 🤔 A Community Resolution is a way of dealing with an offender which is proportionate to lower level crime. It can be offered when the offender admits an offence, in most cases, where the victim has agreed that they do not want more formal action taken. With this new launch, we are thrilled to be offering more support to divert women from entering the criminal justice system and reducing the risk of reoffending 🎉 #CriminalJusticeSystem #JusticeandSafety #MOJ #CommunityResolution

Vulnerability in later life is something that's so important to recognise and to understand. In 2021, the Vulnerable Victims Notifications (VVN) process was launched, developed in collaboration between UK Finance and Sussex and Surrey Police. It was designed to enable law enforcement to notify financial service providers of customer vulnerabilities which may make them susceptible to fraud. 18 regional police forces and 14 banking brands have now signed up to the process, with more scheduled to start. So far it has helped over 500 vulnerable customers, with 40 per cent of referrals flagging vulnerabilities that were unknown to the victims’ banks.
