"Teamwork makes the dream work" Here we all are taking a break from another busy event - the YP and Peppo Tutors 2024 PowerUp fest at Regent's University London, and what better way to chill and soak up the sun than in a pair of giant deckchairs! 🌟 Power Up Festival 2024 Recap! 🌟 What an incredible day we had today at Regent’s Park, London, for the first-ever Power Up Festival 2024! Hosted by Young Professionals and Peppo Tutors, this sold-out event was a huge success, bringing together aspiring legal professionals and top experts from the industry. Inspiring talks, hands-on workshops, and invaluable networking opportunities with representatives from leading law firms like Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Linklaters, Clifford Chance, Latham & Watkins, Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, Norton Rose Fulbright and The University of Law making the day unforgettable. We were thrilled to see so many enthusiastic participants ready to kickstart their legal careers. Last week our CEO Dan had the fantastic opportunity to join our clients Lloyds Banking Group to celebrate their achievements in apprenticeships and their amazing colleagues who work across the bank supporting individuals on the scheme. We heard from the CEO and Chief People officer on their vision for the future and how apprenticeships are so important to their growth of the bank. We’ve done it again! Young Professionals delivers yet another huge sell out event with over 3,000 students all turning up off their own back to our Summer Conference in London. Completely amazed and blown away by the engagement we’ve had from all our students looking to kick start their careers working the corporate environment. What an incredible night hosting the Lloyds Banking Group Careers Live Session with over 1,400 students and the LBG team! We had a fantastic evening talking all about finding a career that you love with the help from some of the amazing apprentices at LBG. We had over 500 questions across the session from students all taking a keen interest on how they can develop their careers within the banking and financial services industry. Event Round-Up: Insight Event with Direct Line Group in Liverpool! We had an amazing day at our Insight Event with Direct Line Group in their Liverpool office today. Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to making it a fantastic experience. Here are some key takeaways from the event: 🔹 Hands-On Experience: Participants engaged in interactive workshops and business simulation exercises, gaining a real-world feel for working at DLG.  🔹Fast-Track to Success: Students had the unique opportunity to fast-track their applications for DLG's Apprenticeship programme starting in Sep 24! 🔹 Networking Opportunities: The event provided a valuable chance to network with professionals and peers, enhancing skills and building connections within one of the UK’s leading companies. There were three dynamic sessions throughout the day, each filled with enthusiasm and insightful discussions. It was fantastic to see Year 13 students, gap year seekers, and university students exploring new career possibilities. This event really was a workshop with a twist, including interactive insurance claim games and some “speed dating” networking with the DLG team. A fantastic few days at the Institute of Student Employers conference in Birmingham! The energy and passion for collaboration and sharing best practices were truly inspiring. We’ve come away with some insightful data that will help drive further innovation in our work. It was such a pleasure to reconnect with familiar faces and make new connections during this event.
