    Here’s what to do when your SaaS provider experiences a serious outage ⬇️ Prolonged downtime can disrupt your workflow, but switching providers immediately might not be the best solution. Many business-critical SaaS solutions have long-term contracts to ensure stability. But you can take steps to protect your business, starting with ensuring you are properly compensated. Vertice's Head of Purchasing, Nicholas Riley, suggests taking the following steps: ☑️ Carefully review your Service Level Agreement (SLA) to know what constitutes an outage and the compensation terms. ☑️ Don't rely solely on the vendor's reports. Use independent tools to track the duration of the downtime. ☑️ Proactively request SLA credits once service is restored. ☑️ Act within the timeframe. Many SLAs have a window (typically 30 days) to request compensation. Don't miss out on what you're entitled to.
