640,000 tonnes of ghost nets end up in our oceans each year... we want to make that 0. ♻ Even in the beautiful destination of Bali, ghost nets are a danger to marine life. An ocean clean-up crew came across a dolphin in distress on one of their expeditions. The net had become entangled around the dolphin's fins and mouth rendering it helpless. 🙏 Luckily they managed to rescue but this serves as a reminder that the ghost net problem is a GLOBAL problem. When it comes to microplastics like plastic straws and bottles, we know how to make an impact, stop using them. However, we ourselves don't use ghost nets...
