Standardised, not sterile ✈🛄 With passenger numbers at airports around the world regularly breaking records, it’s vital we maintain and enhance the infrastructure that makes flying a pleasant and efficient process for everyone.   There are few places around the world that provide a greater sense of familiarity than airports; this allows passengers to understand the process no matter where they are. Designing and building airports with a degree of consistency does not have to mean a sterile and stale experience, standardisation provides a solid and safe foundation with room for personalisation.   Mace’s Global Head of Aviation, Carl Dainter explains how firms responsible for building and enhancing airports can aid this sense of consistency, by embracing collaborative delivery models and leveraging the digital tools of a programme management officer.   🛫 Read his full perspective here: https://lnkd.in/dKkjSQwN   #MaceConsult #Aviation #BuildingAirports

Housebuilding on the horizon 🏠🌟 The UK’s new Labour government is committed to a nationwide housebuilding programme, promising 1.5 million new homes over the next five years. The built environment sector is poised to support this ambition. However, building new neighbourhoods without a proper consideration of place risks leading to isolated communities and poor investment opportunities. In her latest article, Lesha Chetty shares her views on how our industry can build places that matter, not just now but in the future as well. 👉Read the full perspective here: https://lnkd.in/eXYP3yBr #MaceConsult #Construction #Housebuilding

🎉 Celebrating the topping out of Panorama St. Paul’s! 🎉   We are excited to celebrate this key milestone of one of London’s most ambitious redevelopment projects. The former BT London HQ is undergoing a remarkable transformation into a state-of-the-art workplace, boasting exceptional offices, landscaped terraces, and wellness amenities.   Targeting BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ and WELL ‘Platinum’ certifications , commitment to sustainability is at the heart of this project. By preserving over 75% of the original structure and repurposing 1,500 tonnes of Portland stone, we’re not just building for today but for a greener tomorrow. KPF
