Homotopia recently said our final goodbye to the amazing Legend that is Olivia Graham who has now left the company. Olivia has been a huge asset to Homotopia and a core team member for many years. Helping to deliver three Homotopia Festivals, supporting with marketing, fundraising and artist development. No doubt we will be hearing more from her as she goes on to do great things including her work as a podcaster. Olivia we solute you !❤️🎉💋🥂

This Pride, as part of our partnership with Converse, we celebrate those who are pushing boundaries and building a future where everyone can be their fullest selves. Homotopia has always been PROUD TO BE and we will continue to amplify this mission by supporting and platforming local, national, and international LGBTQIA socially engaged artists and creatives.

THE CITY AND THE SELF 🌃 The launch of our inaugural creative skills exhibition was a night to remember 🎉 If you couldn’t make it, don’t fret. The show runs Friday 5th - Sunday 8th April 10am - 4pm at The Royal Standard. A big thank you to everybody who joined us to celebrate the talent of our incredible Queer artists in the city that inspired their work ✨ The City and the Self is an exhibition exploring Queer identity in Liverpool. Showcasing work from early career artists who took part in Homotopia’s twelve month early career artist development programme, facilitated by the fantastic Casey Orr. The programme is supported by Converse in collaboration with The Royal Standard and DuoVision and fits in with Homotopia's aim to provide space and support for Queer culture and those dedicated to making it happen. Art by Tish, Claire Beerjeraz, Harry Garner, Ellesha Doubledaze, Monet, and Maia Walker.

Big news!! 📣✨ Thrilled to announce our new CEO here at Homotopia - Afro Queer artist and filmmaker Topher Campbell. Topher Campbell says, “I am thrilled to be joining the team at Homotopia. Homotopia is the UK’s premier and longest running Queer Arts Festival and has a crucial role to play in supporting and elevating the work of LGBTQIA+ artists nationally and internationally and I am very excited to have the opportunity to play a part in this mission. In a time where LGBTQIA+ people are increasingly facing a more hostile environment, providing spaces that offer community, dialogue, joy, and creativity for us and by us are essential. Liverpool, with its rich heritage of music, culture and Black History, is a global city and the perfect environment for championing LGBTQIA+ culture.
