On France24 last week, I shared how watching refugees like my mum struggle to overcome discrimination and adversity in the job market has been a fuel for my work at Chatterbox. Her skill and talent far exceed mine, as a civil engineer with decades of international experience, which is why it never made sense that so many HR managers thought of her as 'unemployable'.
