Ubitus Supports Most Powerful Taiwan LLM – Project TAME

Cloud streaming leader Ubitus K.K. (hereinafter referred to as “Ubitus”) continues its commitment and collaboration with National Taiwan University (hereinafter referred to as “NTU”) to develop the most powerful and localized version of Taiwan large language model(LLM) for the domestic market. With years of managing large-scale cloud computing resources, Ubitus supports the testing and evolution of the first 70 billion hybrid expert model with traditional Chinese knowledge – Project TAME (TAiwan Mixture of Experts), at the LLM Arena website (https://arena.twllm.com/).

“Project TAME” is specifically designed to fulfill the AI needs of Taiwanese industries. Led by several prominent companies, with assistance from NTU, TAME is endowed with knowledge in the fields such as electronics manufacturing, petrochemicals, healthcare, and law, in addition to its understanding of Taiwanese culture and context, outperforming GPT-4o in benchmark tests.

During the training phase, Ubitus provided gaming industry data and its AI computing resources to assist TAME’s development. Furthermore, Ubitus provides high-end NVIDIA H100 GPUs necessary for testing and deployment. Ubitus’ support for “Project TAME” represents its expertise in AI model training, AI computing resources, and the ability to integrate and promote the local AI applications in Taiwan.
