This thing is super cool and easy to use! I was able to throw a handful of full-length movies on it, and a bunch of 90s commercial compilations. The transition and power off/on effects are a nice touch. This little TV would be a cool addition to a mini diorama or something along those lines. Another neat feature is that you can stream your computer screen to it! I haven't had a chance to use this much, but it would be pretty neat to try and play something like Super Mario World on it.
The converter that TinyCircuits provides is simple and gets the job done well. The only thing I would keep in mind is that audio conversion is not always the best for some things and I think depends mostly on the source it's coming from (it's also a tiny little speaker packed in there). For example, the 90s commercials have amazing audio, but The Matrix has very low, choppy/distorted audio. If you have the means to do so, try to boost the audio volume of videos before you convert them for the TinyTV (you can do this in something like iMovie on macOS, or open source solutions like Kdenlive or Shotcut).
This is a great piece of tech to have around for friends and family. When my wife and I are hanging out at home, we will often just let it play and skip around on the channels. One of my favorite things to do was tell people we got a new TV and then send them a picture of the TinyTV.
