PROS/CONS at the bottomWhen I got my new 512gb Silicon Power NVME and formatted it, the first thing i did was run a read/write speed test with Crystal Mark. This is my first M.2 SSD and I was pretty shocked when i saw the temperatures jump to 67C in just a matter of seconds. I know they like to run somewhat hot, but I could only imagine the temps it would reach when doing something that was a bit more work than just a quick speed test.So I figured a heatsink might be a good idea and stumbled on these (yes there are 2). I only really needed the one, but I also have a stick of Optane installed and figured I could use the other just to cover up the blue PCB.Anyways, I ran the same test at the same ambient temperature and the NVME only reached 33C!They definitely work as intended, and they come with everything needed to install. There were 4 decent quality thermal pads (2 standard thicker ones for each heatsink, a thinner one for the under side of the one with a backplate, and one that has precut squares in case you'd just like to put pads on certain chips like the controller.), as well as cleaning cloths, a mini screwdriver, and screws.Install was a breeze (though there are NO instructions or pictures included), use the cleaning cloths to make sure there's no grease or residue on the surface of the heatsinsk, peel off the adhesive on the thermal pads and stick them on the sinks (they aren't overly sticky so you can get them back off fairly easily), then the bigger ones halves just slot together and gets tightened with screws and the smaller one uses good quality silicon bands to hold pressure onto the M.2, then just install onto the mobo as normal.PROS:-They feel like good quality aluminum and the finish on them is nice-They don't take up much space at all if you're concerned about tight spaces-Thermal pads feel good quality and weren't dried out-They include all necessary bits to install them-Easy enough installation-They do cool surprisingly good!-Fitment is good-Great value for 2 heatsinks!CONS:-No instructions. It's still easy to set them up thankfully, just remember the thinnest pad goes on the bottom inside of the 2 piece heatsink-Finish on the visible area is good, but on the side that contacts the pads there were some scratches and small nicks. No big deal as it's not going to be seen and it doesn't affect anything, but just wanted to put that out there- The heatsink that uses the silicon bands doesn't quite go the full length of the SSD, it still covers all the necessary parts but i wish they had it go to the end of the drive with a little notch cut out for the screw like the bigger sink. Still have a bit of blue PCB showing.I'd recommend these to anyone looking for an inexpensive and effective solution for cooling their M.2 drives!

I needed a heatsink for my 500GB Samsung 970 EVO+. This fit the bill nicely. I chose to use the larger of the two heatsinks (I didn't realize each heatsink is used on its own) and it runs significantly cooler. I'm seeing 5-15°C decreases under load.

Before the heatsink, it would hover around 70°C during a 5x1GiB benchmark with CrystalDiskMark. Now, it peaks at 64°C during a 5x8GiB benchmark. My system has two front-mounted fans and one in the back, so the heatsink is probably getting a little extra airflow.

Installation was fairly straightforward, if a little fiddly. No instructions are included with the kit, so you have to go back to the listing. Removing the protective plastic from the thermal pads and placing them was kind of difficult. The included screwdriver doesn't fit the screws quite right, but it works.

Overall, I'm very pleased with what I got for my money. Everything you need is included, and everything appears to be good quality. I will say that the larger heatsink was red instead of black, which I chalked up to a shipping or warehousing error as opposed to an actual product quality problem.

EDIT: It does actually show in one of the pictures that you may receive a red heatsink. I find that a bit annoying as a red heatsink doesn't look right in certain builds, but for the price, I'm still happy.

This appeared to be what I wanted and at the right price but with only one review at the time I was a little concerned.
Turns out it is nicer than I expected! Precision tooling with solid materials made this a gem to install and I'm certain it will function as well as any on the market. There is actually two heat-sinks in this package. One uses silicon bands which have good thickness and stretch nicely, not like regular rubber bands. Just be careful not to nick them because everyone knows that nicking silicone makes for a total loss. They are beefy enough that I would not worry about aging even in the heat. But I used the two-piece screw together heat-sink for my card since I had plenty of room and felt it might offer even better heat dispersion. The kit came with one extra tiny screw and even had a tiny screw driver that fit the screws perfectly. I magnetized my screw driver by rubbing it on a magnet before starting and that made for a very simple assembly with no lost screws. Have no concerns with the lack of reviews! This is a precision manufactured set of heat-sinks using the finest materials which you will use with confidence. I ordered mine at 3:00 am and Amazon Prime had it to my door 18 hrs later at 7:00 pm. I used it on the Sabrent Rocket NVMe in a Dell T30 server setup.

Applying the screw-on heatsink is mostly easy, though it's tough to apply a bit of pressure to squeeze the two parts against the SSD for the best heat transfer while also putting in the screws. Also a little hard to tell exactly where to align it so that the heatsink doesn't interfere with either the screw hole or inserting it into the slot, and it's not adjustable without taking out all the screws to lift the plates off. The other that is held with bands is simple to attach. The screw-on model works reasonably well (for the price) for cooling my SN850X, keeping it about 5 degrees lower than no heatsink during idle and a heavy benchmark run. The one held by bands, which apply no pressure at all, doesn't seem to do anything at all on my SN770, even after a week to "settle in". Those bands just barely even hold the heatsink in place, so perhaps a better attachment method to apply some pressure would help, but that heatsink is also thinner so it will dissipate less heat generally. The SN770 is even in a better location for getting airflow and not getting the heat from the GPU. Overall, given the low cost of the pair, this seems to still be a decent value for just the screw-on design that is essentially the same as many others, to provide just a little cooling for peace of mind, and the banded one is just a bonus that could be useful in some cases.

It did not include two sets as advertised/expected/needed, it had two different SETUPS/configurations. It was easy enough to assemble both SETUPS, and they seem to be helping the cooling.

I will have to buy another set somewhere now.
