Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I was pleasantly surprised to find I could buy credits for Assassin's Creed Origins from Amazon because for some reason the in-game shop doesn't seem to work in the PC version for me. The credits were also cheaper than the UPlay store which was a bonus!
I does seem that Ubisoft (unfairly) reward you with high end items for 'real' money (and these are not purely aesthetic items). You can also buy crafting materials for real money and pretty much upgrade your items nearly to the top tier right at the start of the game. You don't have to spent real money in this game but you will have to spend a fair amount of time grinding materials and gold. I suppose this could definitely be classed as pay-to-win!
