    it's the cheapest and smallest of all the millenium falcon legos, and it looks really good. it's pretty easy to build, and it looks just like the pictures. every detail is on there and it is just so perfect even though it is a lot smaller than the other millenium falcon builds. i don't think there are missing parts but i did lose like 3 unfortunately while i was building it, though i was still able to complete the build just without a few extra details. as with all other complex lego sets, i don't think this would be a gift for smaller kids especially because it is a collector's item, but older kids and adults will be able to build it easily.

    Yes, $80 may not be cheap per se. But considering most decent lego kits usually start past the $100 and the highly detailed UCS version is like $800+ (with the mid-range choice being almost $200). I would call this a decent alternative for someone who doesn’t have the money, time, or space!

    In my case, I got this cause I don’t have the space for anything bigger and the midsize kit doesn’t look that great in my opinion anyway! This, however, this looks pretty nice once finished, especially on the built in stand! I would even say this is probably the nicest kit of the new ship collection line this is in!

    (that said the other kits depict much larger ships in less detail)

    Anyway, overall it wasn’t too difficult of a build (11-12 small bags total) there were a few spots where I had to go back and rebuild panels to make sure everything fit exactly as it should. But in the end, it all came together really well and looks really nice on my shelf with my other Lego kits.

    (Note: the big gap on the shelf is for the upcoming UCS tie interceptor)

I’m being INCREDIBLY HARD ON LEGO lately because I feel like they could lower pricing some and I think they very well could make even more profit. I know I’d buy a lot more, plenty to make up for a margin dip. I keep in mind all of the costs (to my estimation). This is the reason some of us buy a lot of off brand bricks as well. Stupid good design and packaging. Amazing instructions and fit. Lego finally gave the regular fan an incredible Milennium Falcon at a scale/price point that we could buy/build/display.
