Purchased product in December 2021 and it died, apparently, a few days ago. I got less than 1 year of use in my PS5. But while it worked, it worked great. Installation was easy and speeds were great.

I've submitted a warranty claim via the Sabrent website. I am glad I kept the original packaging with he model and serial number. Hope they honor their warranty so that I can get back to gaming.

I will update when and if I get a response.

Got a PS5 a few months ago and with the size of game files/copying entire game discs to the internal SSD my system's capacity filled up pretty fast.

Did some research on which drive to get. The Sabrent is PCie gen 4, which is what you want for fastest speed compatible with your PS5 console.

The reason I settled on this M.2 drive in particular was because of the custom heatsink. It's designed specifically to fit in the system. Proper heat dissipation is important with NVME/M.2 drives. As they get hotter they can throttle and slow down.

The thermal pad was pre applied to the heatsink so once I installed the drive all I had to do is peel the plastic cover off the bottom and stick the heatsink on the top of the drive. It was very easy to install. The case the drive comes in is also really nice and I put the metal plate from my PS5 (the default M.2 cover) into the Sabrent box for safe keeping.

So far the drive works great, formatting was super fast and read speed according to my console is around 6,888mb/s which coincides with the advertised speed.

I have no complaints about this purchase. If you can get this particular drive on sale I'd recommend it over many other options.

Je voulais rajouter un peu d'espace de stockage et je me suis arrêté sur ce modèle. Pour le dissipateur, on peut trouver moins cher mais j'ai préféré ce modèle très simple à installer.
En plus, l'aération est bien meilleure puisqu'il remplace la plaque en fer d'origine. Ses rainures permettent une meilleure ventilation.
-Livraison très rapide
-Packaging très joli, emballé comme un bijou de luxe. Une boite en fer pour le disque, très bien protégé et une autre boite avec la backplate (si on peut la nommer ainsi) et le petit tournevis qui ne m'a pas servi).
-Installation très simple, il suffit de retirer la languette et refermer. Ne surtout pas oublier la petite vis argentée qui sert de support pour laisser le disque droit.
-Formatage rapide et pour déplacer les jeux, cela se fait à une vitesse ~6600 M°/s
Je pense que 1T° suffit largement pour une bonne vingtaine de jeux en plus de celui d'origine.
