Why Early Access?

“From the beginning, we planned to release Hell Of An Office in Early Access because it would allow us to create the best possible game that surpasses the expectations of both the community and 43 Studios.

During this Early Access period, which we divided into Phase 01 and Phase 02 (the phase we are currently in), we have managed to grow and improve the game through new content updates and incorporating the feedback that players have been providing us.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The goal of having "Hell Of An Office" in Early Access is to achieve the level of content and quality in the game that we promise to deliver to the players who have placed their trust in the project.
For this reason, we have planned two phases. Phase 01 began in March 2023, with the game's Early Access release and lasted for six months. During Phase 01, we launched two content updates and made improvements based on feedback from our community.
Currently, we are in Phase 02, where we are developing an even more enriching experience for players: a narrative layer full of parallel stories, secrets, and unlockables for your stapler along with Steam achievements.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of Hell Of An Office will feature 100 levels spread across 10 different circles of Hell, each with unique mechanics. To progress, you'll need to advance through the various narrative chapters of the game's main campaign.
Each level comes equipped with time medals and community tools, such as a global online ranking and one for your friends. Additionally, you'll have the option to review your own plays and those of other players.
Furthermore, we will have a level editor where you can create your own levels and play those created by other online competitors.
Once Hell Of An Office is launched, we will continue to release free content updates.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Phase 01 of "Hell Of An Office" was launched in March 2023 as Early Access, which included 40 levels divided into four chapters. Afterwards, we released the first content update, "The Necktie Negligences," and months later, the second update, "WFH (Work From Hell)."
These two updates were planned to add more levels and make improvements based on the feedback shared by our community. Hell Of An Office now includes a total of 70 levels spread across seven different types of Hell, each with unique movement mechanics, unlockable elements for the stapler, and online leaderboards for international competition, both with friends and against the top 10 players.
With these expansions, we completed the first six months of Early Access (Phase 01).
Currently, we are in Phase 02, adding a narrative layer to the game that will allow players to delve into the world we have created: they can discover the universe, characters, and secrets hidden in the offices of HellO. Likewise, we are working to ensure that the 100 levels included in the full version of "Hell of an Office" offer an adrenaline-filled experience tailored for all types of players.���

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, the price will be different once launched, and it will increase while in Early Access; with each major update the game receives during this period, additional levels, collectible skins, and narrative expansions will be introduced.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Through a Discord server; with roles, community channels, and live events to gather player feedback as we release updates with new content.

Since we launched "Hell Of An Office" in Early Access, our Discord has maintained daily activity. We have organized challenges, contests, and invited players to share their opinions about the game, aiming for our community to directly influence updates, optimizations, and unlockables.
This has resulted in a collaborative improvement of the game, accessibility updates, and, finally, what most players requested: a new community tool to help them interact, share, and compete with each other more easily.
