Mechanics
Instant Kills
Can be activated at any time in the match, pressing + -> + or or or or .
Also you can activate Murder Outbreak by blocking the moment a Slash/ hits you.
When in Kill Time you can evade the insta-kill by pressing + or or or or .

Instant Kills end the match, giving the player who executed the Insta-Kill successfully, two victories.
Also you can reverse the Instant on the opponent that used the Instant Kill by inputting + or or or or before the opponent does.
Murder Outbreak happens when a Destroy Attack lands, and looks like

Chaos Mode
Occurs when you have only yellow health or below 50% health. Then your character will have red glow, which look like
Allows you to use Chaos Moves/ Overdrive Moves without needing meter, still uses meter if you have any.

Chaos Gauge
Filled by hitting a opponent, amount varies for each character (Sol requiring only 5 hits of any attack to fill his), even when they are blocking. Also gain a small amount of meter by blocking attacks.
Can be used on Gamble/ Dead Angle Attack, Chaos Moves/ Overdrive Moves, Faultless Defense.

Teching/ Ukemi
When you are in the airborne stun, you can immediately do + or or or or . It looks like
Gamble/ Dead Angle Attack
You can attack out of block and be invincible during the attack. By pressing + , which requires full meter to use.
Looks like
Throws
Throws cannot be teched and they are almost instant, can be done by +

Launcher Attack
Sends the opponent in the air unable to tech or block, happens when you do a dust attack, which can be done by pressing + or can also happen when attack hits when someone is attacking. Then pressing up, you will travel with them, you can only combo when the opponent is traveling up, not when they are stuck in the air.

Dash Modified Specials
A special move that end with a input can be changed into a dash modified special by replacing the final with a . But this makes you move across the screen with the move while doing the special. (I think it has to be specific moves like Justice's Imperial Ray or the mini laser)

Fauntless Defense
Use Chaos Gauge to take no chip damage from special moves, because you can die to chip damage while you're blocking. To activate press / Respect, can be done in the air.

Round Timer
It is a clock and when it does a full circle, the round ends. The last nine seconds will be shown be underneath the clock.
Charge
Increases the power of one special move, having 3 levels, varying from more damage and more range. It includes the motion input of the special + Respect.

Tips
In-game Settings
You can change the round time for the story mode to 30 seconds from the usual 90 seconds.
Also you can turn on rumble for dual shock controllers.
And last option is to skip frames for better performance

Selection Screen
You can change the skin color of your character by pressing different attack buttons, those being / / /
In training mode you can change the stage by pressing or .
But in versus mode you can change the stage by pressing start on the character's stage you want.
You can exit the selection screen by pressing share/option button.

Character Tips
  • Potemkin - Nitro Hook can go through kick and punch moves. Also you Megaton Stomp to knock the opponent down and approach them.
  • Zato-1 - Use Climb Darkness to set the enemy up into a near infinite, since the third attack launches them towards you, then you can use to knock them down again to hit them with another Climb Darkness. You can also use Dark Sentinel after Climb Darkness to continue the combo and do massive damage. Use Break the Law to get away and use Climb Darkness.
  • Sol - Use Dragon Install to do massive damage with Volcanic Viper because it makes it level 3.
  • Ky - Use Stun Dipper or Stun Edge after a combo.
  • May - Her charge is faster than most charges and also it does massive damage on level 3.
  • Axl - Use () to do a long range with big damage.
  • Millia - Spam.
  • Kliff - Have Level 3 Houkou Gaeshi to do 75% damage against the opponent, useful when you make the opponent dizzy after using Sugaisai.
  • Chip - Use Ten'i to punish moves the AI makes.
  • Baldhead - His crouch allows him to low profile moves, especially Justice's Gamma Ray.
  • Testament - Can easily wall out a opponent with Phantom Soul, Exe Beast, and Grave Digger.
  • Justice - Spam.
  • Baiken - Her Does nearly 25% of the opponents health.

AI Tips
  • Testament - Don't do jump attacks, his Panzer Centipede has massive range against air, just block his spam moves and execute combos when he gets close or you have a chance to attack
  • Justice - For most characters you can't contest her slash and Micheal Sword, so just block S.B.T and try to punish it or just wait for Gamma Ray, since Gamma Ray's startup is long.
  • Millia - Be sure to get close to her so she can't do Iron Maiden, if she does you can try to block/ absorb all the projectiles and do a combo on her.

Charge Cancel
You can perform infinities by having a move with high hitstun such as or then cancelling the endlag with the charge move that almost every character has, this can be done until the opponent is dizzy. As shown in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NDLTsyZ6Keg

i would think its either a hardware issue with the controller or software issue where game isnt reading the input, but depends what problems are really having. but game functioned properly with my arcade stick
