This is one of the best boomer shooters ever created. There are enough difficulty levels for all skill levels, reasonable achievements, weapon upgrades, all weapons have a purpose and movement is great: fast, sliding and jumping.

And the best of all? Only one dev managed to do all of this. Single person's passion and vision.

This is actually an unbalanced mess but I still appreciate the Steam version. The port is good.

This is a nice little platforming game and good for speedruns. I can easily recommend this on discount.

+Good art direction choice
+the cutscenes are funny and one of the main reason to get this game.

-The gameplay is not deep
-Some projectile hitboxes are BS.

This is a good FPS game albeit outdated to modern standards. A sequel is terribly needed.

A good game for hardcore Warhammer 40k fans. Not excellent, not great, just good. The game can become repetitious and some weapons are still bad.

For general audience, Vermintide 2 is a superior game at this point. I would recommend it over Darktide easily.

Mix together FPS, rhythm and metal and you have a good rhytm game for metal genre (other rhythm games cover the other genres). It's a bit short on content after story so I can recommend it on discount.

I remember how I used to hate this game when it first came out. The gameplay is really good. All this game needed was few more balance patches, exploit fixes, FPS increase, a proper windowed mode with cursor locked and better compatibility with ultrawide monitors.

EA, remaster this please.

Early Access Review
TRIBES 3 early access launch is in a rough state and can only be recommended to the most hardcore Tribes / arena shooter fans. Everyone else should wait and let it cook.

I recommend this game just because the core gameplay is still there and the game's enjoyable. The DLC skin packs are an easy skip. Tribes 3 is currently barebones, has less content and inferior to its f2p predecessor Tribes: Ascend (2012).

If you want to try Tribes: Ascend, it's too late. The servers were shut down and the game's delisted in Steam so you're stuck with TRIBES 3: Rivals. Make it count since oldschool arena shooters like this are almost extinct.

P.S. don't forget Steam's refund policy (under 2 hours, no questions asked).

This is a great game and the devs are still patching it to this day. However, I would recommend the Microsoft Store version for better ranked experience. If you ever want to see Killer Instinct 2, purchasing this game should send a message.

if for some reason Street Fighter isn't your jam for an entry-level fighting game, KI is a good alternative.

Edit: The devs did it again, now ranked crossplay between Steam and other platforms! My one main critique above is no longer valid!

Thanks for the free weekend! Now that I have beaten the story, I do not need to buy the game. While Dying Light 2 improves upon 1, it is still boring as hell. I had to constantly run from main quest to another asap before I drop this game out of boredom. I had no interest in side quests or to look every nook and cranny for collectibles. Do not get me started on achievements that require two playthroughs (max hp and stamina).

The story is also very predictable. Elevators are always stuck or someone's about to ambush as you leave them. Most of the ingame cinematics follow Murphy's Law:

"Anything that can go wrong will go wrong --"

Overall, Dying Light 2 is just as borefest as Dying Light 1.
