Unfortunately, there is no way to reset it.
Fortunately, rather than giving points to one item, the higher the ability to raise the more you give it on average. So your failures will not be in vain

You get so many stat points and have multiple chars, it doesn't REALLY matter in the long run. What I did was have 1 char be a throw-away and just messed with the stat points to see how effective they were.

You CAN reset stat points by destroying that character’s grave (be sure to store all items in chest prior, or you will lose them)

I tried destroying the grave, but the stats didn't reset. It's a shame, I realized that intelligence and the skill status are pretty much useless in this game, specially the status "magic ammount", which is quite pointless, since potions will only recover so much mana.
