Fighting Games are all rough on beginners at first, but Xrd has a very useful tutorial mode and Challenge mode that you should go through before going online.
It teaches you 70-90% of the game.
Edit: People should get Gunframe app for frame data. It's Free and has no ads.
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=anbiapps.ggxrdframetool&hl=en
iOS: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/gunframe/id1053630887?ls=1&mt=8
Fixed it!

c.S notation equates to crouching slash.
f.S notation equtes to forward slash or pretty much presing forward and the slash button.
Everyone by now should know the special move notation or even for normal moves. When you see something like 6P or 2K its referring to the direction via 10-key and the attack button.
7 8 9
4 5 6
1 2 3
So in the examples above 6P would refer to pressing forward and punch as a normal input. 2K would refer to a crouching kick input.
f.S = Far Slash
It's not crouching slash, crouching slash is 2S.
It's not forward slash, forward slash is 6S.
You will find a lot of informations about tournaments, news, characters or system mechanics in CTPL forum.

It has a pretty damn good tutorial, and the inputs are easier to do than the likes of King of Fighters. Also, on top of the combo videos shown above, the combo challenges are apparently approved by competitive gamers as good competitive combo strings.

N.American channels, I guess. Moderated by the folks at r/GuiltyGear.
BUT, it's a really good game. Just try to play with friends with you same skill level at first and try to train with a friend who knows his way around to learn from him.
