The story isn't written by the same people who write for the show, although they did give input and feedback throughout development. As for the story itself, it's alright. It's a side story, and very much feels like one. You'll have a pretty good idea of where it's going pretty quickly. For me, it's carried more by the dialogue and character interactions, rather than the actual plot itself.
