Can I use Ps4 controller?

Sorry guys Im a pc and rugby noob. Question is in the title. I took a long time to google search and it had mixed results in terms of good information.

bc everytime I try to launch it on ps4 controller it crashes and turn off

check your steam controller configurations, i run the game on a ps4 controller but all the interface is xbox (like A and B for actions). I have the xbox entry selected on steam > configuration > controller
