So when you say recla, let's try and explain to like a, a casual audience what that means.

So is that skipping a grade in order to be younger for the upcoming draft class?

Is that kind of what or essentially graduating earlier?

And so being eligible?

Because this is, this was your senior year instead of next year, it could have been your senior year because of your age.

Now is a decision you made before your junior season.

Is that correct?

I guess two years right after freshman year.

So, uh recla kind of meant like skipping 10th grade.

Um, you know, I had the academics to do it and yeah, I was, I was able to skip 10th grade and then so in 10th grade, like the summer I decided to do that, I had to take some summer school to go ahead and get ahead.

Um And then so my junior year, which should have really been my 10th grade year.

I was taking 10th and 11th grade classes.

Um And then my senior year I was, I, I had to finish some 11th grade classes and then knock out my 12th grade classes.

So I I was, I was mixing in a ton of different, you know, classes here and there.

And um, but no, I, one of the main reasons was I was, I was kind of at the top of the 25 class and uh I was an older guy.

So I felt like, man, it would be, it would be nice to, you know, push myself a little bit, um, and jump up to the 24 class.

So the main reason is really, you know, I needed to face some adversity.

I needed to play against guys that were older than me.

Um And it, it just helped me grow as a player.

Um And I think that's important uh because you don't want to face adversity for the first time in the sec uh atmosphere or in professional baseball, like you, you need to go through it once or twice to kind of learn to see who you are.

Um see what type of player you are in, in that situation.
