Fantasy Premier League: First FPL price reveals for 2024-25 season

Fantasy Premier League is almost back for the 2024-25 season and the game has teased fans with the first price reveals for the upcoming campaign.

The first unveilings for the new season include a record-breaking price rag for Manchester Ciry goal machine Erling Haaland, who is priced at an eye-watering £15m. That figure eclipses the previous £14m record jointly-held by FPL icons Thierry Henry, Cristiano Ronaldo and Robin van Persie.

FPL managers will have to stretch their budget out across the rest of the squad to include the Norwegian, though a return of 63 league goals in 66 appearances for the Citizens indicates that Haaland is a player who is high risk to be without.

Elsewhere, Liverpool star Mohamed Salah is priced at £12.5m, matching his price tag from last season. Known as a King among both the FPL and Egyptian communities, Salah has earned 200+ points in a record-breaking seven straight seasons, though his 211 in 2023-24 was the lowest of his time at Anfield.

Arsenal’s Kai Havertz (£8m) and Tottenham’s Richarlison (£7m) have been reclassified as forwards for 2024-25 after spending the bulk of last season at centre-forward for the North London sides.

There’s also a bumper boost for Cole Palmer, who will now cost £10.5m. The 22-year-old was the best-value FPL player ever last season, having started the season at just £5.5m. His 244 points in 2023-24 made him the highest-scoring player of the FPL season. Bargain.

Meanwhile, Jordan Pickford and Bernd Leno have seen their cost increased from £4.5m to £5m. Everton’s Pickford topped all goalkeepers for points last season, while Fulham’s Leno was third.
