Video Transcript

And the fourth pick in the 2024 NBA draft is to find Castle to the San Antonio Spurs.

He was the unanimous big East freshman of the year.

KP.

This is a young player that you like a lot.

Tell me why this is my guy in the draft.

I love that Castle.

I love that.

He's going to be playing with Victor.

We Yama, the two of them are going to anchor the defense.

He was one of the best perimeter defenders in college basketball as a freshman.

And then you look at his upside and his as a score he showed in the final four, I think he helped himself the most in the final four games.

When Alabama said, if anybody's going to beat us, it's going to be you freshman that Castle and he had 21 points.

He had 15 points in our Purdue game to go back to back and just his fit.

I mean, you, it's obvious we know that they're trying to get playmakers.

But when I think about step on Castle and who he reminds me of it has to be RJ Barrett kind of like that the shooting isn't there yet, but the perimeter defense and the, and the defense in the backcourt is, and I think he has the upside to be the guy in this draft and a superstar, not a franchise changing player, but a starter for the San Antonio Spurs.

That's good stuff.

And if he can make the right passes at the right time, they'll go a long way because as I look at the Spurs last season, their highest net rating for a tandem that played meaningful minutes, Trey Jones and Victor Wina plus 4.3.

So if Castle can make some of those passes, Trey Jones is making and then add the scoring that you're talking about.

Yeah.

Now they cooking with fish grease, grease.

He's, he's a winning player and what I like about him, you told me he's a very soft spoken individual.

He shot 28% from downtown, you know, who also shot around there from downtown and the Spurs.

Who's that?

Kawhi Leonard kw Leonard is a guy that people didn't proje project him to be a finals MVP at 24 years old, but he is a guy who was soft spoken and had a lot more to grow.

And the San Antonio Spurs, if they can, they can make him a three point shooter man.

Watch out.

Stefan Castle could be an elite player at the next level.

He sounds like he's got all the pieces to be very, very good in the NBA and stay there.

So, congratulations to ST Castle and San Antonio Spurs.

Very good pick at number four.
