Where was this?

What team were you playing for at this point?

Uh Doolan Dodgers, this was, this is my age group.

We were actually playing uh the, the Philly scout team.

I think they were the Giants at this time, but we were in uh Florida for the World Series, you know, the big World Series tournament and this is the summer of 2020 like during COVID, what has changed since that video for you as a player because you look at this now and I'm sure, you know, we've done this with players before where it's like, oh here's what you used to look like.

It's like, oh, that's embarrassing.

So when you watch this video, what do you, what do you kind of think about you as a player?

This video kinda hurts looking at so it hurts like you see this video and I I what's wrong with it?

What's what, why does it, why does it hurt?

Uh I mean, just looking at like everything now, like how I get in my legs more and like my time and peace and I feel like I still got the same, the same bad movement and everything.

But, like, really what's changed is, like, I get on my legs more and I know how to use my legs way more than what I did in high school.

Like, I, I really, I didn't have like, a hidden guy in high school.

Like, it was just me on my own.

You were just up there swinging.

Yeah.

Really?

Just up there swinging.

But, like, as I got to college I was learning way more about my swing and everything.

When you say you don't get into your legs, usually we think about that from like a power perspective, right?

You're, you're not using your legs to generate here.

It's more about flexibility because you're so upright.

And so that's why you're just getting on top of the baseball now.

So when you talk about getting in your legs, that process is that weight room?

Is that flexibility?

Is that drill work?

How are you getting lower so that you're able to get under the baseball better?

I would say, like you say, like the weight room and like the flexibility part, that was a big thing for me in college.

Like our, our coaches always, they made sure that I was always getting stretched because I was like mostly like a big tight guy and uh they just wanted me to be as loose as I can.
