Bayern Munich could sell one of a number of their biggest stars in the summer transfer window, which will put Premier League clubs on high alert.

The German club have already splashed out big money on signing Michael Olise from Crystal Palace, paying £50.8m (€60m) for the winger.

Hiroki Ito has also been signed from Stuttgart after triggering the Japanese centre-back’s €30m (£25.3m) release clause.

Bayern are not finished there, with João Palhinha expected to finally move from Fulham to Bavaria this summer. Reports suggest that a deal worth £47.4m (€56m) has been agreed, although it is yet to be confirmed.

That would bring their summer spending up to a whopping £130.8m (€146m) on just three players, with more reinforcements expected to bolster Vincent Kompany’s squad.

That means Bayern will have to sell up before they can sign any more new players for the rest of the transfer window.

According to German outlet Kicker, Bayern are willing to relinquish some of the crown jewels to straighten out their finances

That includes some of the player who have been crucial to the club’s success in recent years, such as Joshua Kimmich, Alphonso Davies and Kingsley Coman. Leon Goretzka, Serge Gnabry and Matthijs de Ligt are also on the chopping block.

Kimmich would be a major get for any Premier League club, with Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City linked with the midfielder, who has featured at right-back for Germany at Euro 2024, in the past.

Alphonso Davies, who has previously attracted the interest of Chelsea, Manchester United, City and the Gunners, could be available for a relatively low transfer fee, given his current contract expires in 2025. Bayern are reportedly unwilling to match his wage demands.

Man United are in negotiations with Bayern over a deal for De Ligt, who has been linked with Arsenal and Chelsea in the recent past, worth £42.2m (€50m).

Gnabry has proven himself a useful winger since leaving Arsenal, but only made ten Bundesliga appearances last season due to injury. He was most recently linked with Real Madrid.

Kingsley Coman, who was once on Man United’s list of transfer targets, could return to PSG, while Leon Goretzka has been linked with West Ham and the Red Devils.
