On the heels on his General Hospital exit, Michael Easton (ex-Finn) made a few posts to recognize some very special castmates — his leading ladies. The actor took to Instagram with three separate videos to thank Rebecca Budig (Hayden), Finola Hughes (Anna) and Rebecca Herbst (Elizabeth).

The first showcased the goodbye scene between Finn and Hayden, to which Easton credited Budig for her “amazing” work and her “deep soulful eyes that you can get lost in.” He went on to pinpoint how she can “show her pain and vulnerability in one moment and then shift her resolve and be able to walk away from everything is her life” and how it was “so incredibly heartbreaking to watch. I am in awe of her talent.”

Next up was an emotional scene between Finn and Anna where he wished he would’ve had the chance to save Hayden’s unborn child. “I’ve always felt that if you’re ever fortunate to be recognized for a performance the true credit goes to the actor you’re sharing the scene with,” Easton shared. “I’ve benefited from working with some of the best but over the past nine years three actors got stuck working with me more than all others and I would like to thank Rebecca, Becky and Finola for putting up with me.”

Sharing the stage with them has made him “a better actor and person” and of Hughes, who he called “truly iconic” and “incredibly compassionate,” Easton explained, “I chose this clip because all Anna and Finn had done up to this point was some witty banter but this seemed like the moment that they stopped and truly saw each other and was the foundation upon which their relationship was built.”

Last but not least, of the actress who Finn shared his final romantic relationship with, Easton thanked Herbst and said she was “one of those incredibly rare actors that can tell entire stories in their eyes.” He chose the scene where Finn expressed his feelings to Liz and stated, “I like this scene because without saying a word you know that she’s feeling something but we never know exactly what it is and we can’t look away from her,” and closed out by adding, “So much inner power beyond her beauty.”

We’re not only going to miss Finn’s presence in Port Charles but his interactions with many of its residents. Easton is no stranger to daytime so we can only hope that we’ll see him again one day on our screens.
