Sherry Ibrahim elated to reach the summit of Mount Kinabalu
10 Jul - Sherry Ibrahim has unlocked another achievement at 41, after successfully reaching the summit of Mount Kinabalu.
The actress recently shared her happiness over the successful effort on social media, revealing that she arrived at 4095.2 metres before sunrise and witnessed a beautiful rainbow after two days and one night ascent.
"The journey to this summit was more than just a physical ascent. It was a test of endurance, determination, and resilience, pushing me beyond my limits both physically and mentally," she wrote.
"Met new friends and they are all strong & amazing. In the end it's not the mountain we conquer but ourselves but of course with ALLAH's will."
However, Sherry said that it would be the first and the last time she would climb the said mountain, jokingly added that she couldn't feel her legs anymore on the way down.
