Amazon currently has the 2022 Hisense U6H 75" 4K QLED Google TV for only $649.99. This was one of the best selling TVs during Black Friday. The Hisense U6H is a 2022 TV model that offers a lot of features for a 65" TV at the $500 price point. This TV boasts a quantum dot display (QLED) with a full-array LED backlit panel with local area dimming and wide color gamut (ULED). It also has a high peak brightness of 600nits, which means this is a solid TV choice for brightly lit rooms with poor light control. Although the U6H doesn't have a 120Hz panel, it is still a good choice for a gaming TV because it has variable refresh rate and a very low response time.

TCL 5-Series 55" 4K QLED Roku TV for $499.99

TCL is the official TV sponsor for the NFL and the 5-series TV is one of their best selling models. The TCL 5-series is as close to the U6H in terms of features and image quality as you're going to get and today Amazon has brought the price down to $499.99, matching the U6H deal. The only difference is the smart TV interface; whereas the Hisense U6H adopts Google TV, the TCL 5-series features Roku TV. Both TVs offer excellent value for $500.

If you're in the market for an excellent, future proofed gaming TV but want to keep your budget to under $1K, then take a look at the 2022 Hisense U8H series TVs. They have all the technology you'd want in a current generation gaming TV and they perform superbly as HDR TV sets as well. Best of all, Amazon has the 65" and 55" models at the lowest price we've seen, cheaper than on Amazon Prime Day or last year's Black Friday. At their new price point, they are strong contenders for best quality TVs in their respective price ranges.

55" Hisense U8H 4K Quantum ULED Mini LED Google TV for $649.99, 65" for $899.99

HDMI 2.1 for 4K @ 120Hz

Hisense U8H 65" 4K Mini LED QLED Google TV

The U8H was Hisense's highest end LED LCD TV for 2022. The biggest upgrade from the 2021 U8G model is the Mini-LED panel, which allows for better control of black levels and thus a higher contrast ratio. The UH8 also features quantum dot technology (QLED), which offers higher brightness levels (up to 1,500 nits) and better color reproduction. The UH8 is a ULED TV, meaning it's equipped with full-array LED backlighting with local dimming and supports wide color gamut.

The U8H has gamers covered. It has a native 120Hz panel and two HDMI 2.1 inputs. That means it can pass true 4K @ 120Hz on PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles and RTX 30 series equipped gaming PCs. The U8H also supports variable refresh rate (VRR), which is this TV's version of adaptive sync technology, as well as auto low latency mode (ALLM), where the TV automatically switches to a lower latency when it detects gameplay.

All the features above make the U8H an excellent HDR TV set as well, especially when combined with its Dolby Vision HDR support. That's a lot of features in a $650-$950 TV set, but then again, it normally retails at several hundred dollars more.

50" Onn 4K Roku TV for $198

Here's a no-frills 50" 4K TV with a great Roku smart TV interface for only $198 shipped at Walmart. If you're on a budget, you won't find a price on a brand new TV for cheaper.

65" LG B2 4K OLED Gaming TV

HDMI 2.1 for 4K @ 120Hz

Amazon has the 2022 LG B2 OLED TV for $1296.99. That's currently $400 cheaper than the LG C2. The LG B2 doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the LG C2 model, but the differences might not matter for you, and it still makes for an amazing TV for current-gen 4K HDR gaming. The B2 uses a very similar WOLED panel found on the previous generation C1. It has a true 120Hz panel and two HDMI 2.1 ports for running 4K at 120Hz on a PS5 or Xbox Series X,. It also supports variable refresh rate (VRR) and auto low latency mode (ALLM).

So what's missing from the B2 compared to the C2. The biggest difference is the OLED panel. The 2022 C2 model has the new "Evo" panel that offers a higher brightness rating. The B2 model uses a very similar OLED panel to the previous generation C1. The B2 has two HDMI 2.1 ports compared to the C2's four ports. The B2 has the older a7 processor compared to the C2's a9 processor. The B2 is a heavier TV than the C2. That rounds out any differences that actually matter.

65" Sony X90K 4K Gaming TV for PS5 for $998

HDMI 2.1 for 4K @ 120Hz

Sony Bravia XR X90K 65" 4K Google TV

Buy On Amazon↗

This Black Friday deal is back. The Sony X90K is marketed as a gaming TV and is host to several welcome gaming-centric features. It has a true 120Hz panel and two HDMI 2.1 ports for running 4K at 120Hz on a PS5, Xbox Series X, or RTX 30 series equipped PC. There's also native variable refresh rate (VRR), which is this TV's version of adaptive sync technology, as well as auto low latency mode (ALLM), which means that the TV automatically switches to a lower latency during gameplay. Exclusive to higher end Sony TVs like this one is a feature catered specifically for the PS5 console called Auto HDR Tone Mapping. It works similarly to HGiG or Dolby Vision. Basically your PS5 will be able to identify your exact TV model and apply the optimized HDR settings specific to your TV, a sort of automatic HDR color calibration if you will. It takes out a lot of tweaking involved on your end (which most people tend to ignore completely) and thus offers a better HDR image out of the box.

The 2022 85" Samsung TU690T offers a massive 85" screen size from a very well known brand at a price of just under $1K. Although it doesn't have a 120Hz panel, it still makes a good gaming TV thanks to its very low input lag.
