Exoprimal

Exoprimal will no longer be receiving seasonal content

Capcom released Exoprimal in July 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and now it looks like new content will be coming to an end for the game. Currently, Exoprimal is in Season 4 which concludes on July 11. Once that date comes, Season 1 will make a return.

From then on, previous monthly content for the game will return monthly starting with the first ever season.

“All gameplay modes will remain available to play. This includes the main Dino Survival mode, as well as endgame content such as Savage Gauntlet and Time Loop Rebellion.”

“If you’re playing alone or match with only a few other players, Bots (AI-controlled Exofighters) will still be added so that you can fully enjoy the Hammerheads’ story and reach the ending.”

Exoprimal was a nice success for Capcom when it launched, reaching over 1 million players in a few weeks. It then had collaborations with many other Capcom titles like Street Fighter 6.

When news like this comes for any game it may mean it’s not worth the developer’s time to add in new content if the player base is dropping. This doesn’t necessarily mean that Exoprimal is dying, but it’s interesting to see no new seasonal support for a game that just turned a year old.

In our review, we scored Exoprimal a 6.5 out of 10.
