The Nirvana talk needs to chill

Nirvana’s legacy is massive, we get it! Any opportunity these guys have, they’ll shoehorn something about Kurt/Nirvana into it. Steve Albini passes? Let’s not delve into some of his best produced albums, let’s talk about In Utero for 15 minutes and their interactions with Kurt at the time. The Melvins visit? Let’s not talk about their influence on several genres or the fact that they’re still finding ways to be one of the weirdest, coolest bands going, let’s talk about Kurt and Courtney. The hosts are great but they really let an alright band with an outsized legacy dictate some of these conversations.

Stop saying Patre-own

Since you say it 6 times an episode. It’s —on like off/on.

Great show but there should be an "Explicit" version of podcast

I realize that Sound Opinions is a radio show that needs to follow the rules of the FCC, thus bleeping out profanity. But they should provide an Explicit version of the podcast so adult music fans who aren't easily offended, can listen to the included songs the way the artists intended!

Also, they often repost past episodes without marking them as "rebroadcasts". For instance, "Give the Drummer Some" has been reposted twice. It's not a major issue, but it would be helpful to tag these episodes and list the original air date. Typically, I can tell by the hosts' higher-pitched voices, lol!
