Please give us the old game review back, or an option to enable the old one. The UI is much larger, I have to look up and down my screen after every move. I liked how in the old design, I could focus on reading the bottom of the screen then analyze the board on the top effortlessly. Now, I cannot read the evaluation and the coach speech at the same time since they overlap. The "modern design" trend I see everywhere is visually displeasing, especially on taller and narrower phone screens.

If you enjoy playing chess, whether you're a beginner or advanced, this app is the best. I enjoy getting coached, and playing with people from all over the world. In addition, when I want to challenge the computer, there are countless personalities and levels I can play against, which offer boundless opportunities for improvement. There are puzzles, lessons, videos, reviews and analysis of games, and so much more. And I only use 2% of this app's capabilities. I still have so much to explore.

Live in Vietnam. Cannot connect to the app unless I use a VPN (saying that it cannot connect to chess api). I have tried reaching out to support with no response. Extremely high pricing. Game review needed an update and they provided one....they made it worse. Why can I not see the meter at the top when doing a game review. I have to literally move the text that wouldn't help a 4th grader out of the way. Every. Single. Time. Why do you have no way to turn off that nonsense and force me to look.

Hello, this is a network provider issue but you can connect to Chess.com using VPN. Or with wifi and Android OS 9.0 or later, you can use Google Public DNS: in the Settings app, tap [Network & Internet]>>[Advanced]>>[Private DNS]>>[server name private DNS provider] and enter "dns.google", then save the settings. We're working on Game Review!
