NZGF will take place in Wellington from 29th June – 7th July 2024. Media of all disciplines or experience levels are welcome – students, hobbyists and professionals alike.

Level Up Workshops
Lesson in game development for local kids, from local devs!
Our industry conference for game developers, hobbyists and those interested in the sector.
Every year, NZGF runs The Pavs as a celebration of NZ and Australia’s best and boldest game development achievements.
– Treat and Greet Night – a sweet way to get to know your fellow game community
– PB and J – Game Jam
– Joypad – LGBTQIA+ social mixer featuring Jackbox games and board games.

If you would like to attend and cover NZ Games Festival as part of a genuine media entity, we’re able to grant free access in the form of a nice, shiny media pass. This includes the Play by Play development conference, The Pavs: NZ Game Awards night and other ticketed events.
