Omnivore

Premieres Worldwide July 19th on Apple TV+

Narrated by our very own René Redzepi, this global series explores the ingredients that built societies, shaped our beliefs, and forever altered the human story. From salt flats in Peru to coffee forests in Rwanda to wild tuna off the coast of Spain, each episode of Omnivore celebrates the way we grow, transform, and consume the world’s best resources – the ones we eat.

Dear friends,

On July 19th, an idea that we started dreaming up more than a decade ago makes its way into the world. It’s called Omnivore, a series for Apple TV+, and I’m very proud to share it with you.

Each episode of Omnivore dives deeply into a foundational ingredient that has shaped humanity and continues to influence how we experience the world. Chile, tuna, salt, banana, pig, rice, coffee, corn: these are the stars of this series.

To uncover what these eight ingredients might tell us about who we are and where we’re going, we trek through five continents, spend time with countless people, and go down the moving, intricate paths their stories lead us. At every turn, we get walloped by the sheer magic of cooking, along with the breathtaking, joyous, and sometimes perilous questions that surround what we cultivate and how we consume it.

Omnivore isn’t just a food show, because it reminds us that food is never just food – it’s a window into our lives, our history, and our world.

Congratulations to the entire team at Omnivore, whose curiosity, passion, and tireless work made this moment possible.

Thank you for watching.
