🚀 Why we love Vue.js 🚀 Over the past couple of years, we have experimented with different front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, and Bootstrap. However, we have found our favorite and go-to framework; Vue.js Vue.js spoils developers with its blend of simplicity and power. Its gentle learning curve welcomes newcomers, yet beneath lies a robust framework capable of crafting responsive applications. Vue's reactive data binding elegantly synchronizes data between components, fostering seamless interactivity. With its lightweight nature, Vue.js boasts swift load times, ensuring a smooth user experience. Furthermore, the package support is amazing. We use Vuetify to create a coherent user interface between all the different inputs. Bundling your application for productions is super fast and easy using Vite. And there is an amazing community if you ever get stuck. We have used Vue.js for three major projects, including interactive maps, large data tables, and complex input forms. Yesterday I attended the JADS community event on making supply chains Triple-R with Data and AI. It is always good to be back at the beautiful chapel at Jheronimus Academy of Data Science talking about data science and software. One thing that stood out during the breakout session provided by Tidal Control was that we should treat cloud providers AWS/Azure/GCP as dependencies in the supply chain. Yes, building (native) cloud solutions is cool but what if your cloud provider is not available due to an outage, geographical restraints, or customer requirements? Food for thought! It was nice to meet some new people and learn about other start-ups that are applying data science in practice.
