Ryan Arbogast

Ryan Arbogast joined Waterman Broadcasting as the Collier County Beat Reporter in July of 2022.

His primary focus will be keeping you aware, safe, and in the know about your area. 


Ryan joins Waterman Broadcasting from WKBW-TV in Buffalo, New York. During his time in Western New York, Ryan contributed to the breaking and ongoing coverage surrounding the racially motivated mass shooting at a Tops supermarket. He also covered severe weather (snow, not hurricanes – of course), and primarily focused on the station’s #BuffaloStrong segment, which highlighted the what the City of Good Neighbors is all about. 


Prior to his tenure in Buffalo, Ryan graduated from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. During his time at SU, he also studied Political Science, to further understand how to share all sides of a story.

Ryan is originally from Warwick, N.Y., a small rural town outside of New York City.  


When he’s not in front of a camera or out in the community, you can find him doing all the Florida activities that we’re impossible in Warwick, Syracuse, and Buffalo (such as the beach, the pool, hiking, playing tennis, pickleball, and anything outdoors.)
