The Ninjutsu Research Centre also called the "Scientific Ninja Tool Research Lab" is an institution in Konohagakure that is run by Katasuke Tōno. During the Byakuya Gang's orchestrated civilian protest at night in the village, the group infiltrated the facility at midnight, and assulted the staff before stealing the Magnum Opus from Katasuke.
