Kaneki Corporation

The Kaneki Corporation (カネキコーポレーション, Kaneki Kooporeeshon) in a company that rivals the Kaminarimon Company in status. In order to remain competitive, its leaders pushed forward the development of a project in a chemical plant that resulted in an explosion that killed many people. The higher-ups successfully pinned the blame on the deceased project developer, Mikazuki Amaashi, destroying her reputation and avoiding being investigated. Years later, people involved in the accident were targeted and killed by Mikazuki's brother, Samidare. While he failed to kill the corporation's president, his involvement brought up new charges against the corporation, leading to the investigation being reopened.
