Dekai (デカイ) is a Konohagakure shinobi formerly of Team 6.
Background[]
Dekai was put into Team 6, consisting of future well known figures, Jiraiya and Minato Namikaze. During the Third Shinobi World War, Dekai and his team confronted the Iwagakure jinchūriki, Rōshi and Han. Thanks to Minato, the team was able to safely teleport away from their Tailed Beast Balls. After the successful escape, Dekai had thought he had gone to the afterlife. Later, after the team returned to Konoha, Dekai informed Minato that the team needed to report their mission to the Third Hokage.
Personality[]
Dekai doesn't seem to like being late, as he asks Minato not to delay their team with a report to the Hokage.
Appearance[]
Dekai is a large, broad-shouldered guy with dark skin, black eyes, and short blond hair. He wears the standard Konoha shinobi outfit, which includes a green vest and forehead band. His arms are protected by special armour.
As a child, he wore a dark kimono with yellow trim.

- In his first appearance in the manga, Dekai was depicted with white hair and light coloured skin. In the anime, he had dark hair and dark skin. In his second appearance in the manga one-shot, Naruto Gaiden: Whirlwind in the Vortex, he has dark skin and white hair.
- "Dekai" (でかい) means "big".
