By now, you’re more than likely aware of the Nintendo Switch Sports update that added a new sport, basketball, to the game yesterday. The update, which was officially revealed in Nintendo’s June 2024 Direct, came as a surprise to quite a few people, as the game hadn’t received a new update in quite a while.
Well, it has been announced that Nintendo were not the only ones involved with the update. Eighting has confirmed on their official website that they also worked on the update. Eighting is the same team that ported Pikmin 3 Deluxe to the Switch and added the new content. They also co-developed Pikmin 4 with Nintendo.
