Is trusted leadership ‘nature’ or ‘nurture’? How can leaders build lasting trust in an age of reinvention? What else should we know about the benefits of a high-trust organisation? These are some of the questions examined at the launch of our latest report developed in collaboration with Asia School of Business. Among the key findings presented by Prof. Yi-Ren Wang (Associate Professor I of Organisational Behaviour): employees in high-trust organisations are 8x more likely to embrace AI, and 6x more likely to seek out new ways to learn and innovate – a testament to the power of trust in driving transformation. To see how this translates into business practices, we convened a panel session titled "Navigating trust at the interchange of transformation and leadership," moderated by Pauline Ho (Building Trust Programme Sponsor and Assurance Partner, PwC Malaysia). Arien Zackary Ritzal (Chief Talent Officer, Gentari) and Lai Pei-Si (CEO, GXBank) shared their firsthand experiences overcoming challenges during their organisations' transformation journeys, while Prof. Michael Frese (Professor of Management, Asia School of Business) contributed academic insights to the discussion. The panel explored how culture nurtures value, technology influences trust, as well as strategies for cultivating a growth-oriented environment. We’re #PwCProud to support Architects of Diversity Malaysia at the Inclusivity Summit 2024, a platform that brought together leaders and practitioners from diverse industries for a day of learning, networking and robust conversations on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). The event fostered meaningful dialogues, networking, and in-depth discussions on pressing challenges and explored solutions to create more equitable workplaces. Critical issues such as women in leadership, disability access, and racial equity were on the agenda as well. Recognising collective progress, our journey towards an inclusive Malaysia continues. #DEI #Inclusion #Diversity

High-trust organisations see greater employee buy-in for reinvention initiatives like AI adoption, sustainability and innovation. But building trust goes beyond mere engagement–it's also about the willingness to be vulnerable. The good news for CEOs navigating reinvention? This trust shift sits well within their realm of influence. Learn more about strategies for building a high-trust organisation in our new publication, developed in collaboration with the Asia School of Business, "Leading the leap: Trust-driven strategies to shape reinvention": https://pwc.to/3Y3A7E1 #Trust #Leadership #Reinvention
