If you’re a pet owner, you know how hard it is to keep a clean house. (I have two beagles and vacuum twice daily, and there’s still fur everywhere.) If you need something more powerful to tackle the relentless onslaught of pet hair, Amazon has some early Prime Day deals worth checking out.

Ahead of the big event, Amazon’s offering hefty discounts on select Shark brand vacuums and cleaning appliances, including the popular Shark (IX141) pet cordless stick vacuum (with XL dust cup). This model, which normally retails for $259.99, is currently on sale for $149.99 — a savings of $110, or 42%. The Shark website and Best Buy are matching the price, but Amazon offers free shipping for Prime members (so there’s that).

The Shark (IX141) pet cordless stick vacuum is lightweight, has a 40-minute runtime, and transforms into a handheld vacuum so you can clean the couch, stairs, and other tight spaces (it also comes with a crevice tool). Plus, the XL dust cup with CleanTouch Dirt Ejector makes it easy to empty without getting your hands dirty.
