Synopsis[]

The world around you is in ruins. Sentinel robots have enslaved most of the United States and are set to stage a global war. The X-Men have failed; the few who survived this nightmarish future are imprisoned in Mutant Internment camps. But all is not lost, the battle for the future can be fought in the past. With one chance to re-write history, the X-Men must stop this war by preventing the assassination of Senator Kelly.

Recreate one of the most iconic stories from the X-Men universe, based on John Byrne and Chris Claremont's original comics and expanded to tell the whole story behind the nightmare that is the Sentinel Uprising. Journey through a post-apocalyptic New York City, Washington D.C., Savage Land, Asteroid M and more.

• The game is a tie-in to the 2014 X-Men: Days of Future Past movie, however the story is inspired by the event of the same name but with it's own storyline
• Differences from the Earth-811 include
  • Certain characters such as Nightcrawler are dead at the start of the story, which occurs just before Kate uses the jammer device to free the mutants from the camp
  • Kate travels back in time with the help solely of Cerebro
  • Kate returns after preventing the assassination of the Senator Kelly and discovers was not the only thing that caused the timeline to form, the death's of Beast and MacTaggert and the Asteroid M destroying Washington D.C. also had to be prevented. So she travels back in time a second time
  • Changing the past actively sends ripples through the time stream which brings deceased characters back to life and allows the Master Mold in the future to be defeated.
