Continuity Notes[]
- This episode explores David's relationship with the Hulk more, and the Hulk is shown to be quite hostile towards David when they meet inside his mind. Carolyn helps David try to subdue and control the creature in his mind, resulting in several meetings between David and Hulk inside David's mind, in which the Hulk tries more than once to kill him.
- Though she only appeared once, Carolyn Fields proves to be a very prominent figure in the continuity of the show, as she tries to help David rid himself of the Hulk, and she is also shown to be one of, if not his most, important love-interests in the series, as she is shown again in multiple flashbacks in subsequent episodes.

The scene in which David explains his previous engagement to Carolyn: David Banner talks about his previous engagement to Laura Banner, mainly talking about her death in a car accident, and how David didn't have enough strength to save her resulting in his attempts to awaken the inner superhuman strength through gamma radiation.
