Miles Warbeck was a crimeboss that operated under the name of the Viceroy. He fathered two children, Davis and Heather, with an unknown Shi'ar woman.^[1]

He was murdered by Lady Mastermind who used illusions to convince Viceroy what he was drowning in the ocean, forcing him to suffocate.^[2] When Viceroy's body was found, it was at first believed that Gambit was responsible. But it was later discovered that he was murdered by Lady Mastermind under the order of Sebastian Shaw who allied with the Examiner to take over the Australian crime world.^[3]

"Viceroy" is a title in monarchical systems, denoting the ruler's recognized representative in a given country, running it in their name.
