Gloria Brickman, the daughter of Senator Ralph Brickman and step-daughter of Mallory Brickman. Little does Gloria know, Mallory is none other than the shape-shifting mutant Mystique, operating undercover. After her mission was complete she faked her disappearance.^[1]

Gloria encountered Mystique again in her quest for vengeance against Sabretooth. She reverted to a former persona of Mallory Brickman. Craftily engineering her reappearance as Mallory, who had supposedly been abducted, Mystique ensured federal agents found her bound in a car trunk, alleging captivity by Sabretooth. Though her husband welcomed her return eagerly, Gloria grew suspicious, attempting to involve an FBI agent. Mystique deflected this threat by insinuating the agent's misconduct, leading to his reassignment. Under the guise of Mallory, Mystique had her tracking implant removed by the family doctor, citing Sabretooth's coercion, but fearing exposure, she later silenced him by tampering with his car brakes.^[2]
